Drilon Park

Drilon is a park built around a group of crystal-clear karst springs about 5 km east of Pogradec, near the lakeside village of Tushemisht. The water travels underground from Lake Prespa through the mountains before bubbling up here, then flows as the short Drilon River for little more than a kilometre into Lake Ohrid.

About Drilon Park

Framed by lush greenery, the streams wind through a park of wooden bridges and quiet channels where swans glide over the transparent water. Visitors come to stroll the paths, take a short boat ride and enjoy fresh fish at the traditional restaurants beside the water.

Drilon is protected as a natural monument and is a peaceful stop on any visit to Pogradec. A similar spring, at St Naum, lies just across the border in North Macedonia.
