Sveti Stefan Beach

Sveti Stefan Beach stretches along both sides of the narrow causeway that links the mainland to the island of Sveti Stefan, the walled 15th-century fishing village that later became a luxury resort.

About Sveti Stefan Beach

The beach is known for its distinctive reddish sand and fine pebbles and its very clear water. The view of the red-roofed island village rising straight out of the sea is one of the most photographed scenes on the Montenegrin coast.

The part of the beach on the left side of the causeway (as you face the island) is open to the public, while the right side is managed by the resort and is reserved for its guests or paid access.

The beach is reached by steps and paths down from the village on the main coastal road, and a walking path continues along the shore to Miločer Park and the village of Pržno.
