After a hotel pickup in Tirana, Duress, or Shkoder, set out on a full-day tour. Midway through the journey to the Albanian Alps and Theth, make a brief stop in the County of Shkodra for a coffee break.

After an hour’s journey from Shkoder, arrive at the foothills of the Albanian Alps. Take in the picturesque sights with stops planned for sightseeing at Boge village and Qafe Thore. Descend from the summit to reach your main destination, Theth Village.

Begin your exploration by visiting the Church of Theth and marvel at the intriguing Reconciliation Tower. Then, indulge in a delightful lunch featuring traditional North Albanian cuisine.

Embark on a 1-hour hike through the jungle to reach the natural wonder of the Blue Eye of Theth. Along the way, relish the freshness of the river water. Take a dip in the Blue Eye, boasting some of the coldest waters in Albania. Immerse yourself in a 3-4 hour experience amidst the Albanian Alps.

    A full day trip with great nature and learning

    Our guide, Daniel, was very punctual with his arrival to pick us up at a meeting point. He shared with us Albanian culture, history and everyday life. Since he himself came from the northern region, his family's story associated with special regional rules was interesting. My partner and I enjoyed a great Albanian Alps (being Blue Eye as our highlight) and the history of Theth. The only downside was the discrepancy between the website description and the e-brochure accessible from the same page. We read the e-brochure and thought lunch was included in the tour. We recommend changing the description in the brochure for future tourists as it is misleading.

    Genand made it unforgettable

    Our tour from Tirana to Theth was absolutely amazing! Our guide, Genand, was friendly, funny, and very patient, especially with us beginner hikers. He gave us plenty of time to enjoy the hike and take in the stunning scenery. The Blue Eye of Theth was breathtaking, truly a must-see! I highly recommend this trip and Genand as a guide. It was the perfect mix of adventure, nature, and great company!

    Highly recommended for nature lovers

    I was not a really nature person, however after seeing pictures of Theth, especially the church, I said I must come here and I found this tour. And I don’t regret my decision. The tour started very early, about 1 hour earlier to avoid the infamous Tirane traffic jam but the communication from the tour group was excellent. My tour guide was Desi and he is one of the highlight of the tour. This is a young man but with great stamina, excellent communication skill and also very knowledgable about the place. The driving was expectedly long but the bus was comfortable. Once reaching, we did the trek to Blue Eye which is a challenging for a person like me, however with the help of Desi, I managed to reach the place and also have the courage to dip in the freezing water. After the tour, the lunch was so fulfilling but the history of the village including the isolation tower where Desi really show his knowledge and the view from the Church is absolutely out-of-this-world. This is a must-do tour
