We did a 2 week tour with a car and guide through Albania Inbound in October. They provided a great service. Kledis was an exceptionally good guide. He was always good humoured,  knew a LOT of interesting history and culture of Albania and took us to some great places. We always felt safe with his driving and he opened up Albania for us. We couldn't have had a better guide. I recommend Albania Inbound and Kledis to any one going to Albania.

Day tour from Tirana to North Macedonia, Ohrid town, lakeside, monasteries and a boat trip which was well organised, thanks to our tour guide Nolan and driver George. Information about Albanian history and culture was given to us while on the bus, and other information about places visited when on site. Although it was a long day, as we had to cross the border, we highly recommend this trip if you visit Tirana.

We were travelling as a group of three and this tour had something for each of us - stunning geography from beaches to farmland to cities to dramatic mountain peaks, beautiful culture and complex political history, and genuine, caring, sincere people. Our guide Anest looked after us very well and took interest in each of our personal stories as well as our tour wishes. He was knowledgeable and able to answer our many many questions. The tour began in the more rugged north - those mountains, just wow! And then we made our way to the gentler coastline along the Ionian Sea. We had time for some touristy shopping, learning about millennia of different cultural eras, lazing at hot springs, and even white water rafting (thank goodness it was July and the river was moderately slow!). Just a note: Albanians eat lunch around 3pm so bring snacks to hold you over until then. Albania's recent history of living under Communist rule was always an underlying presence either from driving by bunkers, touring the House of Leaves (on our own), or listening to people share memories of the growing pains of the past few decades as they sought to establish democracy. The complex history - ancient and recent - only served to highlight the warmth and kindness of the people we met. Thank you Anest. I would like to say a huge thank you to Dave! Having travelled to several countries and experienced many different tour guides, I can honestly say that he was one of the best I’ve ever had. Dave is truly an all-rounder. He has an incredible knowledge of the country, the charisma to connect with the whole group, and a real talent for bringing history and stories to life in a way that is engaging and enjoyable. His spoken English is also excellent, and he communicates everything very clearly, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable and easy to follow. What really stood out to me was how attentive he was to the group's individual needs, often anticipating what someone might need before they even had to ask. He also remained calm, patient and composed, even during some of the more challenging moments of the 5-day group trip. He went above and beyond, even supporting the driver in navigating to the right locations when there was some uncertainty along the way. Dave was an exceptional guide and a real asset to the trip. I would highly recommend him to anyone visiting Albania. If you’re lucky enough to have Dave as your guide, you’re in very good hands!

I had an excellent experience with our tour guide Dave and driver Ardian on a tour to North Macedonia.Both were knowledgeable, professional, and capable, making the entire trip smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. The tour was well-balanced and suitable for all ages, offering opportunities to swim, shop, or simply explore at your own pace. Dave’s insights and guidance added a lot of value, and his restaurant recommendations were spot-on. I would happily do this trip again, especially with other family members during the cooler season when there is even more time to enjoy the sights comfortably. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a well-organized and memorable experience.

What a fabulous trip we had to Albania and North Macedonia with Albania Inbound! It was such a pleasure to work with Henri during the planning stages of our private tour and then we were lucky enough to be with our amazing guide and driver, Dave, for our time in these two wonderful countries! Dave was very knowledgeable about the places we visited and also helped to make the whole experience really fun! His English was great and he was always very punctual. We were so impressed by the variety of things to see in Albania. The natural beauty of the mountains and beaches was stunning. We learned so much about the history of the Balkans and really enjoyed visiting so many interesting castles, Roman ruins, Ottoman towns, and Byzantine churches. We were so glad we had the chance to visit Lake Ohrid too. We highly recommend using Albania Inbound for your trip. We would not have been able to experience half of the things we did without the help of this great travel company!

Extensive itinerary covering all main attractions and beautiful landscapes from Albanian Alps, rivers, villages, castles down to turquoise waters and beaches. Programme maybe a bit too packed. Would have preferred to do the trip in 12 days and to have more time to stroll around on my own. Our guide/driver Dave was outstanding, friendly and always with a smile despite annoying and stingy fellow travellers in our group. He made my day on every single day of the trip. He was very professional and provided us with information on historical and archaeological sites and shared interesting insights of his family’s personal history. He had excellent driving skills. While admiring the breathtaking scenery, Dave drove the big car through the twisted mountain roads or narrow cobblestone paths in the villages in sunshine, rain and fog. And he loved squeezing the car into the tightest parking spots. I always felt very safe. Likewise for the nature walks as Dave is passionate about hiking. Albania is beautiful and I enjoyed the trip very much.

Excursion d’une journée à Teth et visite du Blue Eye : la route est assez longue et avec beaucoup de virages mais la vue en vaut le coup. Le guide a fait plusieurs arrêts pour prendre des photos. Il faut marcher dans la montagne pendant environ 30 min pour atteindre la source, prévoir de bonnes chaussures. Les paysages sont magnifiques et l’eau très claire. Il est possible de s’y baigner. Au retour, le guide nous avait réservé une table pour manger devant une vue superbe. Au retour arrêt dans le village pour une visite rapide. Merci à Genand pour sa gentillesse et pour cette super excursion ! Notre guide parlait anglais, italien, albanais et même un peu français. Rapport qualité/prix excellent nous recommandons sans hésiter.

Wunderschöne Tour nach Theth! Besonders Jeffry war ein großartiger Guide – sehr freundlich, lustig und hilfsbereit. Dank ihm war die Tour ein unvergessliches Erlebnis. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Hicimos una excursión al lago Ohrid durante el día desde Tirana con Armand y fue increíble! El es un guía estupendo y el camino fue seguro porque el conductor también lo hizo genial. El sitio fue espectacular. El día muy completo. No me quedaría sin ver el monasterio de St. Nail. Sin duda, repetiría. Gracias!

Super fijne tour gehad! Alles was heel goed geregeld

Vrijdag 15/8 hebben we genoten van een super rit naar Blue Eye en Theth. Alle lof voor onze gids Anest. In het juiste tempo en enthousiasme heeft hij ons door deze dag geloodst. Inspirerende verhalen, veel tips (ook voor het vervolg voor onze vakantie in Albanië) kregen we mee Anest bedankt was mooi om jou als gids te hebben👍😃

Aprovecho, Anest, para darte nuevamente las gracias por tu atención, simpatía y por todas las horas de conducción que has tenido que hacer para que nosotros podamos disfrutar de la excursión. Hicimos una excursión fantástica al Blue Eye y al pueblo de Theth. El paisaje, las vistas y el caminito por los Alpes Albaneses fue muy bonito e interesante. Además, Anest supo cuidar de nosotros durante toda la excursión y explicarnos todas las historias, anécdotas y curiosidades que conocía. Por último, fuimos a comer a un restaurante de comida tradicional y homemade, que estaba realmente bueno!!! En nuestro caso, creemos que vale la pena coger en Civitatis la excursión que incluye el menú almuerzo. (Si no, puedes ir de todos modos a comer al restaurante con todo el grupo y pedirte los platos que más te apetezcan libremente). Lo recomendamos! :))

Wir haben heute eine Tour mit Henri von Tirana nach Nordmazedonien erlebt. Es war eine tolle Tour mit vielen Höhepunkten, einer schönen Bootstour und einem freundlichen Guide. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Io ed il mio compagno abbiamo fatto un tour dei Balcani tra Albania, Macedonia e Kosovo. Abbiamo adorato tutto. Henry è stato fantastico, bravo ed informato su tutto. Ci ha dato un sacco di buoni suggerimenti. Hotel e ristoranti di livello. Consigliamo questo tour e questa guida a tutti!
