Vjosa River

The Vjosa River flows from Greece through southern Albania to the Adriatic, and these articles cover rafting, gorges and hot springs along it. It is one of the last free-flowing rivers in Europe and is protected in Albania as a wild river national park. Our guides explain where and when to go rafting on the Vjosa and in the Osumi canyon, visit Përmet and the Benja hot springs, and describe the Këlcyra gorge, where the river cuts through the mountains.
