Q&A
Where will I hike?
There will be one hike to the Blue Eye of Theth and one more optional hike to Grunas waterfall. Both hikes are programed on the second day.
How long are the hikes?
The hike to the Blue Eye lasts 45-60 minutes one way and has a inclination of about 200 meters. The hike to Grunas waterfall lasts 30-40 minutes one way. It is flat most of the way but has a steep inclination only in the end. Both hikes are on wild nature, uneven terrain. The second hike to the waterfall is optional.
How many days does this tour last?
This is a 3 day tour. The first day starts at 09:00.
How big is the group?
This is a small group tour with an average of 7 people and a maximum fo 15. It runs with a minimum of 2 people.
Where does the tour start?
The tour starts directly from your hotel in Tirana at 9:00 AM. On the morning of the tour, your guide will meet you at your hotel for pickup and you will start your journey.
What should I bring?
You can bring comfortable hiking shoes and clothing, warm attire for the chilly mornings in the Alps (during autumn), swimwear, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat.
Can I cancel my booking?
You can cancel free of charge up to 30 days before the tour start date, and your 10% deposit is refunded in full. If you cancel less than 30 days before the start date, the deposit is kept by the agency. The remaining 90% is only paid on the first day of the tour, so nothing more is charged. Force majeure events, such as natural disasters, political or social unrest, major infrastructure failures or epidemics, are an exception.

Is there anything I should know before booking?
When booking, you can choose the type of room you require: a room for two, a single room or triple room. Please note that the tour starts from Tirana at 9:00 AM on the date you choose. Pre-tour accommodation is not arranged by us, so you are free to choose any hotel in Tirana that suits your preferences. Your tour leader will contact you via WhatsApp one day before the tour to introduce himself and confirm the pickup time. The next morning, he will pick you up at 9:00 AM and begin the tour with the group.
Will there be a bout tour included?
Yes, you will visit Shala river and Komani lake on a guided boat tour.
How does the 10% deposit work?
You confirm your booking by paying 10% of the price per person. The remaining 90% is paid on the first day of the tour, to our representative at the tour vehicle, by card, cash or bank transfer. The deposit is fully refundable if you cancel at least 30 days before the start date.
