Itinerary & Details
Day 1: Explore Tirana City, Traditional Dinner and Folk Music
- Arrival at Tirana International Airport. When you exit the airport building you will find the tour guide holding a sign of ALBANIA INBOUND. After the meet up, you will be swiftly transported to your hotel in the city center to check in.
- Embark on a 1.5-hour walking tour of the city center where you will be introduced to the culture of Albania and the history of Tirana city. Several facts and information will be provided to you while you visit several landmarks like: Skanderbeg Square, Et’hem Bey Mosque, The Clock Tower of Tirana, The Castle of Tirana, The main Boulevard and Pedestrian street, Blloku Region, The house of our old dictator Enver Hoxha, house of the leaves and much more.
- You will finish the walking tour of Tirana at Tirana New Bazaar where the best local traditional restaurant is located, ODAS GARDEN. Explore various Albanian traditional dishes while enjoying the music of a local band.

Day 2: Visit Berat, The City of 1001 Windows
- Today you will journey towards centra Albania. In Belsh town you’ll pause for a brief coffee beside the largest of the town’s 84 lakes.
- Ascend the castle hill for a visit to the castle itself. On the walking tour of the castle, we will learn the history of this ancient city while visiting several sites.
- Enjoy a traditional Albanian lunch while taking in the finest view of the old town.
- Descend to the city center and explore the renowned Mangalemi neighborhood.
- Explore significant landmarks such as: The city gate and former Pasha’s residence, The Sultan’s Mosque, Berat’s bustling boulevard, and more.
- Pass by the famous Gorica Bridge and explore the old Gorica neighborhood.
- Return to Tirana, enjoy a free afternoon.

Day 3: Albanian Alps & Theth Village
- Embrace yourself for a nature adventure day in the North Albanian Alps!
- Start your journey and head North. Midway through the journey to the Albanian Alps and Theth, make a brief stop in Shkodra for a coffee break.
- After an hour’s journey from Shkoder, arrive at the foothills of the Albanian Alps. Take in the picturesque sights, with stops planned for Boge village and Qafe Thore. Descend from the summit to reach your main destination, Theth Village.
- Begin your exploration by visiting the Church of Theth and marvel at the intriguing Reconciliation Tower. Then, indulge in a delightful lunch featuring traditional North Albanian cuisine.
- Embark on a 1-hour hike through the jungle to reach the natural wonder of the Blue Eye of Theth. Along the way, relish the freshness of the river water. Take a dip in the Blue Eye, boasting some of the coldest waters in Albania. Immerse yourself in a 3- to 4-hour experience amidst the Albanian Alps.
- Return back to Tirana

Day 4: Nature Adventure: Bovilla Lake & Gamti Mountain and Airport Transfer
- Start your day with a big breakfast to prepare for an amazing hiking day in Bovilla Lake. As you journey through the countryside of Albania, you will reach the Bovilla Canyons. Enjoy the beautiful nature views of the canyon. Take a short break for some pictures and a bit of stretching.
- Drive up to Bovilla Dam, an impressive structure that towers 91 meters. This dam serves as the primary source of electricity and water for Tirana, drawing from the surrounding lake.
- Embark on the hiking trail towards Gamti Mountain, where every turn reveals stunning views of the lake and the surrounding countryside. The hike includes intermittent breaks to rest and absorb the scenery. After approximately 25 minutes at an elevation of 850 meters, the road ends, and you will reach the only cafe in Gamti Mountain. After this, there is an additional 10-minute hike up the rocky slopes to reach the summit. Upon reaching the summit, you will encounter one of the most amazing views in Albania. Descend along the same path and, upon reaching the base, visit the river’s shore.
- End your day with some free time to enjoy a meal at a nearby restaurant or a snack you’ve brought along. After a day filled with adventure and stunning natural scenery, return to Tirana.
- In Tirana, you will be dropped off at a meeting point where a driver will be waiting for you. You will be swiftly transported to the airport, where your Albania Long Weekend adventure will conclude.

Wonderful experience in Albania

Lovely tour
Great tour to have an overview of Albania. Those were very busy days, covering a large number of sites. Thanks to the energy and passion of our guide Henri, those days were very pleasant. Henri has passion for his country and was flexible to accommodate our needs and expectations.
Highly recommend
A fantastic tour!! We saw and learnt so much in these days, with a real variety of history, culture , food, scenery, beach … and adorable cats & dogs. Our guide Anest was a fountain of knowledge, and explained things very well- he seemed to know everything about everything. Very friendly , and his English was excellent . Hotels were very good. Would highly recommend- so much less stressful than hiring a car. We were a middle- aged couple, and then there were two younger single people in the tour… we all got on very well, so would be a fab trip for single people.
An unforgettable experience
My 4 days in Albania were amazing. It was my first time in the country, and I loved exploring Tirana, Berat and the North. The days were well organized, with plenty of opportunities to see historical sites, enjoy local food, and take in the beautiful scenery. The pace was perfect, not rushed, and I felt I really got to experience the country. Definitely a trip I’ll remember.
Just amazing
I had booked the trip with pickup in Durres. We were picked up and delivered on schedule. Our guide, Nolan, was nice and helpful throughout the trip. He was good in English, and we had a very steady driver. We felt safe and well cared for throughout the trip. The trip is highly recommended. Albania is a hidden gem!

A perfect short trip around Albania
What a great trip! Everything was super smooth, from pick-up to hotels. Our guide was awesome Anest, was friendly, funny, and knew so much about the places we visited.
We got a perfect mix of culture, nature, and free time to explore. Berat, Tirana, and the Albanian Alps were amazing …so much beauty packed into a few days!
Highly recommend this tour if you want a stress-free way to see Albania. Had such a fun time and would do it again in a heartbeat!
