Jale Beach

Jale is a small, sheltered cove on the Albanian Riviera, between Dhërmi and Himarë, below the hillside village of Vuno. Fine pale sand, small pebbles and calm, crystal-clear water make it one of the prettiest swimming spots on the coast.

About Jale Beach

The bay is framed by green hills that drop straight into the sea, giving it a closed, intimate feel. The water stays shallow near the shore and turns a vivid turquoise further out, ideal for swimming and snorkelling.

In summer Jale has beach bars and small restaurants serving fresh fish, while early in the season and in September it is much quieter. A short drive connects it with Dhërmi, Gjipe and the town of Himarë.

Jale is a favourite stop for travellers who want a classic Riviera beach day without the size of the larger resorts.
