Kravica Waterfall

Kravica Waterfall is a broad, semicircular cascade on the Trebižat river in western Herzegovina, a short drive south of the town of Ljubuški. Like many waterfalls in this karst landscape, it was shaped by tufa deposited by the limestone-rich river, and its many streams drop roughly 25 to 28 metres, depending on the water level.

About Kravica Waterfall

Below the falls the river spreads into a natural amphitheatre around 120 metres across, framed by greenery and drifting spray. In summer visitors swim in the pool and relax along its shores, while changing water levels and vegetation give the falls a different character in every season.

Kravica lies within easy reach of Mostar, and it is a favourite stop on day trips through Herzegovina, combining naturally with the region’s historic towns.
